The Beast returns. This portion of the root is in the path of the sewer line.

Lots of digging, a 1/2 day to repair a track on the digger and they finally get it busted loose.
Does any one out there need a really unique piece of very old wood? Let me know... I'm sure we can make a deal.

The siding is on for the most part. The porch cover can't be completed until the trench is filled in. It took a while to see any changes because they started siding on the back and did the front last.

Finally something to report the windows arrived a day early and were installed the next day. Shopping for a front door that should be in soon and the siding is right around the corner.

Most of the pictures were taken from the window behind the big tree. Just wanted you to see the reverse picture
I'm standing in the kitchen looking back into the living area. Couch or recliners... it's going to be a tough decision.

Now I'm at the stairs looking back at the kitchen. The bedroom is on the left and the office is on the right. The 72" big screen TV goes on the wall right in front.
The Shop space and a picture of the beam. It's going to be nice to have a place to work again.

The roof is on, windows and siding are next. Then, my work begins.

Wow! That makes a big difference. It has style now. Did you notice the shop windows moved? The architect had the wrong dimensions on the plans and the edge of the windows did not line up with the ones below. Hard to notice because it was only 3 inches. Once the trim was in place, it would be more noticeable and too late to correct.
