Walls! There will be a small delay while the engineer tries to remove the post from the middle of the shop floor.

The lumber is here or should I say a garage on a truck.

The floor is being poured and yes, that's another big heavy truck that made its way to our backyard... but it's starting to take shape.

Another big truck in the back yard- this time for the gravel before the concrete floor is poured. The lawn is taking a beating. It may never recover!

The rain stopped long enough to move a little dirt around to just one big pile. They also started the trench that will bring in the utilities. This will bring the project to the front yard for a while... hope the neighbors can put up with us.

The end of the week should bring a floor to the garage area and then a load of lumber after Memorial Day. That's when it will start looking like a building.

Wow! They are still doing some work to the forms and the concrete is already here. The front yard held up pretty good; hopefully a little dirt in the low spots and you will never know that we had 6 loads of concrete and the pumper truck drive over it.

The forms are nearly complete. Of course, it's been raining so that has made everything a little sloppy.
